Support the Micro-Farm at Montclair Historical Society

MCFC CSA farm partner, The Montclair Historical Society is the site for the micro-farm called Montclair Community Farms, supported by Rutger 4-H, Montclair Historical Society, the Montclair Health Department and Montclair State University maintained by local teens and volunteers.

How can you help this local micro-farm?

Montclair Community Farms now has a mobile farm stand to deliver and sell their locally grown produce at affordable prices to seniors by setting up shop in the farm stand at Montclair’s senior housing buildings.
Tell your local senior neighbors about the mobile farm stand delivery dates

Share your organic CSA compostables: Please bring your organics scraps and to help us produce healthy soils!  Add to the first of the two-paneled bin, the active compost, next to the chicken coop in the fenced garden.  One idea is to save your compost in the MCFC bin and dump it before your bi-weekly pickups. Compost can get messy, so we advise you to put a plastic bag layer in your box to collect the compost. We have a power hose and site for you to rinse your bin afterwards.
