Join food & canning expert Michaela Hayes of Crock & Jar on Sept. 6 th, 2013 from 4 – 6 pm at the Montclair Historical Society as she teaches you the basic principles of home canning. You will learn how to preserve your CSA share and the bounty of harvest season. Canned produce make delicious gifts and helps you eat locally all year long.
The first six members to register will be able to take home a jar of diced tomatoes and a seasonal jam. Members are welcome to watch at any stage.
